Teaching

Final FRCA Crammer courses are organised in turns by the three West Midlands Schools of Anaesthesia. The courses are very good preparation for all aspects of the the FRCA and success rates in the exam are very high in the region. The next course will be advertised shortly.

The Birmingham School of Anaesthesia also attend one of two half days of teaching a week. Friday mornings are aimed at CT1/2's and is based at UHB under the supervision of Dr Nigel Huggins.

Pre-final FRCA teaching (for ST3/4's) is organised at City Hospital on a Wednesday afternoons under the supervision of Dr Zoe Huish.

Immediately prior to each sitting of the Final FRCA, Dr Khalid Hasan organises pre exam teaching on Friday afternoons. These do not therefore run continuously through the year.
